Solvd is hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter, AI/ML (US) to build and close pipelines for senior AI talent in competitive markets. This is a sourcing-led role for someone with deep ties in the US AI community and a track record of hiring experienced AI engineers and scientists through credibility, speed, and strong candidate engagement. You’ll partner with AI leadership and delivery teams to define hiring profiles, run end-to-end searches, and consistently close top talent through community-driven sourcing and targeted outreach.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting, with meaningful focus on AI/ML/GenAI
  • Demonstrated success hiring Senior/Staff-level AI talent
  • Strong existing network across AI engineering/research communities
  • Proven sourcing craft: mapping, boolean/X-ray, and portfolio-based sourcing (GitHub/Hugging Face/arXiv as relevant)
  • Strong stakeholder management and closing skills
  • ATS/CRM discipline and comfort operating with funnel metrics
  • Network-led and sourcing-strong; you don’t rely on inbound
  • Credible with AI candidates and able to assess real signals beyond resumes
  • Highly organized, data-aware, and comfortable running multiple senior searches in parallel
  • Clear communicator who builds trust with candidates and hiring leaders

Nice To Haves

  • Consulting/agency recruiting experience
  • Exposure to hard-to-hire specialties (agents, RL, recommender systems, MLOps/platform, infra-heavy ML)
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted sourcing and outreach workflows

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for senior AI roles across IC and leadership levels, from Senior/Staff to Director (e.g., AI Solution Architects, Applied Science leads, Directors of AI Solutions).
  • Build high-signal pipelines via AI communities, referrals, open-source networks, and targeted passive sourcing
  • Lead intake and calibration with hiring managers to align on scorecards, evaluation signals, and closing strategy
  • Create role-specific sourcing plans (persona, target orgs, channels, messaging) and iterate outreach based on response data
  • Run technically credible screens and guide candidates through interviews with fast feedback loops and strong candidate prep
  • Own offer strategy and closing, including compensation alignment and competing offer navigation
  • Track funnel health and recruiting metrics (pipeline coverage, conversions, time-to-submit/time-to-hire) and improve the motion over time
