About The Position

As a Senior Technical Program Manager of Applied AI, you will work at the intersection of cutting-edge research and industrial-scale execution. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you will proactively drive customer success and lead complex benchmark transformations and data deliverables. You will architect workflows so that LLMs and multimodal models are trained on accurate, diverse, and complex data, while partnering with research labs on innovative solutions.

The role leads high-priority technical programs for frontier AI labs, including delivery of large-scale datasets and bespoke engineering milestones. It also oversees high-volume data pipelines across text, image, video, and audio, and partners with production on automated and human-in-the-loop quality-control frameworks. You will connect forward-deployed engineering, research, and production teams to address the needs of the frontier AI market.

The position is based in the London, UK office and is hybrid, with Boston and Indianapolis also listed as acceptable locations. Other locations listed include Berlin and New York. Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field and 10+ years of industry experience; alternatively, a Ph.D. and 5+ years of experience in a high-growth AI or engineering environment.
• Experience founding or scaling a venture, or working in an early-stage startup and driving business growth and strategic initiatives.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage high-stakes stakeholder relationships with frontier AI labs.
• Proven track record managing data pipelines for LLMs or multimodal models.
• Deep understanding of training, inference, and data diversity, including multilingual and multi-domain data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-throughput programs where quality control is mission-critical, including experience with automated validation at scale.

Nice To Haves

• Fluency in multiple human languages.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience working with modern AI frameworks such as PyTorch and LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Proactively propose and co-develop benchmark transcreations with research lab partners, aligning deliverables with their research objectives.
• Lead end-to-end execution of high-priority technical programs for frontier AI labs, including delivery of large-scale datasets and bespoke engineering milestones.
• Architect and oversee high-volume data delivery pipelines across text, image, video, and audio while meeting delivery cadences and maintaining precision.
• Partner with production to implement rigorous automated and human-in-the-loop quality-control frameworks for data integrity across domains and languages.
• Coordinate forward-deployed engineering, research, and production teams to serve the frontier AI market.
