About The Position

Alice is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead development and delivery of reinforcement learning environments, training tasks, and evaluation infrastructure for frontier AI models. The role works directly with leading AI labs, internal engineering and research teams, and external technical experts to translate complex research requirements into scalable programs. It calls for someone who can move between strategy and execution in a fast-paced, high-ambiguity setting and drive multiple complex technical programs in parallel. The position owns customer-facing programs and leads the creation of realistic, interactive RL environments and scalable task-generation and evaluation pipelines. It manages the weekly delivery of hundreds of technically complex tasks while maintaining quality, diversity, and efficiency; builds and manages distributed networks of technical contributors, cybersecurity specialists, and reviewers; and coordinates cybersecurity, indirect prompt injection, and agentic evaluation programs. The role also partners with researchers and engineers on automated graders, reliable reward mechanisms, and quality standards, while aligning Research, Engineering, Product, Sales, external contributors, and customers. Alice describes itself as a trust, safety, and security company for the AI era. It provides services across the AI lifecycle, including model-hardening evaluations, pre-deployment red-teaming, runtime guardrails, and ongoing drift detection. The company supports frontier model labs, enterprises, and UGC platforms, and states that its work helps safeguard over 3 billion users across major AI and technology platforms.

  • Strong understanding of LLMs, AI agents, reinforcement learning, post-training, and model evaluation.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple complex technical programs in parallel, make fast decisions, and deliver under aggressive timelines.
  • Experience scaling high-volume production workflows involving external contributors or specialized experts.
  • Strong technical foundation in software engineering, APIs, infrastructure, testing, and automation.
  • Exceptional prioritization, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • High ownership, bias for action, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with frontier AI labs or AI infrastructure companies.
  • Familiarity with RL gyms, evaluation harnesses, verifiable rewards, or post-training datasets.
  • Background in cybersecurity, red teaming, prompt injection, or agent safety.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, containers, or automated testing.

Responsibilities

  • Own customer-facing programs with frontier AI labs, translating research needs into clear requirements, roadmaps, and deliverables.
  • Lead the creation of realistic, interactive RL gyms and scalable task-generation and evaluation pipelines.
  • Manage weekly delivery of hundreds of technically complex tasks while maintaining quality, diversity, and efficiency.
  • Build and manage distributed networks of technical contributors, cybersecurity specialists, and reviewers.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity, indirect prompt injection, and agentic evaluation programs.
  • Partner with researchers and engineers to establish automated graders, reliable reward mechanisms, and quality standards.
  • Drive multiple programs simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, adapt to changing requirements, and maintain execution speed without compromising quality.
  • Align Research, Engineering, Product, Sales, external contributors, and customers to ensure reliable delivery.
