About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager – Manufacturing Cybersecurity Architecture to join the Enterprise Security Architecture (ESA) team. This role will operate at the intersection of cybersecurity architecture, manufacturing operations, and business engagement, helping bring security expertise closer to manufacturing sites and business stakeholders. This individual will play a key role in advancing strategic cybersecurity priorities across manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on operational technology (OT), robotics security, secure remote access, cybersecurity patterns, and M&A support. The role will work closely with senior architects across the ESA organization, including OT Cybersecurity Architecture and Network Security Architecture, to drive scalable and secure solutions aligned with enterprise standards. This is an ideal opportunity for a DTDP member who combines strong technical understanding with program execution, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex security architecture into practical business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Graduating DTDP participant.
  • Must live within 2 hour radius of GE Vernova manufacturing site in India or United States. (Example: Greenville, SC)
  • Experience in technical program management, cybersecurity, security architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
  • Experience working across cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic cybersecurity objectives into practical implementation plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or OT environments is preferred
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity principles related to below is preferred: manufacturing environments, operational technology (OT), network security, secure remote access, cybersecurity architecture patterns

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Enterprise Security Architecture team to support cybersecurity architecture initiatives across manufacturing environments.
  • Act as a key liaison between cybersecurity architects, manufacturing sites, and business stakeholders to ensure security priorities are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Help extend cybersecurity architectural guidance closer to manufacturing operations and site-level initiatives.
  • Support the development, documentation, and rollout of reusable cybersecurity patterns for manufacturing use cases.
  • Support the growing cybersecurity needs associated with robotics and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Work with architecture and engineering teams to identify common robotics-related security use cases and help define secure patterns, standards, and implementation guidance.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of cybersecurity best practices for robotics and connected manufacturing systems.
  • Promote awareness and adoption of existing cybersecure technologies deployed at manufacturing sites, including solutions such as Jumpbox for secure access.
  • Partner with site teams and technical stakeholders to increase understanding, usage, and alignment to secure access patterns and enterprise security controls.
  • Help identify barriers to adoption and drive remediation through collaboration with architecture, engineering, and site leadership.
  • Support strategic cybersecurity priorities impacting manufacturing, including initiatives with cross-functional visibility and executive interest.
  • Coordinate across architecture, infrastructure, operations, and site stakeholders to drive alignment and execution.
  • Track progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities across relevant manufacturing cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Provide additional cybersecurity support for increased M&A activity, especially where manufacturing and OT environments are involved.
  • Assist in evaluating cybersecurity architecture considerations, integration needs, and risk areas related to acquired manufacturing environments.
  • Coordinate with security architects and stakeholders to support secure integration planning and execution.
  • Build strong partnerships with manufacturing site leaders, engineering teams, infrastructure teams, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Translate technical architecture concepts into actionable plans for operational and business teams.
