About The Position

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Software is seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager to bring their cloud, operations, and observability software portfolio to life. This role involves creating compelling technical demos, hands-on storytelling, and showcasing real-world use cases. The position sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and go-to-market, focusing on how the software is experienced. The individual will build and run demos, translate complex systems into clear value propositions, and demonstrate how HPE Software solves operational problems in hybrid cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone with experience in cloud provisioning, infrastructure operations, observability, or platform engineering who enjoys explaining technical concepts.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Technical Marketing, or similar roles.
  • Proven ability to build and run product demos — not just explain them.
  • Strong comfort working directly with product management and engineering teams.
  • Ability to explain complex systems simply without dumbing them down.
  • Strong technical curiosity and comfort getting your hands dirty.
  • Confident communicator with customers, sellers, and executives.
  • Natural storyteller who can connect how it works to why it matters.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on background in one or more of: Cloud provisioning & automation (IaC, orchestration, platforms)
  • Infrastructure or IT operations
  • Observability / monitoring / AIOps
  • Hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + public cloud)
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales or field teams.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, virtualization, CI/CD, or cloud-native tooling.
  • Prior experience in observability platforms, cloud ops software, or infrastructure platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Technical Storytelling: Design and deliver end-to-end product demos showcasing HPE Software capabilities across hybrid cloud, infrastructure operations, and observability.
  • Translate complex workflows (provisioning, monitoring, automation, remediation) into clear, outcome-driven narratives.
  • Partner with PMs and engineers to stay ahead of roadmap changes and evolving architectures.
  • Build and Run Demos That Matter: Spin up environments, configure integrations, and run live or recorded demos.
  • Maintain demo environments that reflect real customer scenarios.
  • Create modular demo flows for reuse across sales, events, analyst briefings, and digital experiences.
  • Enable Sales and Field Teams: Arm sellers with demo-ready stories, technical talk tracks, and guidance.
  • Support key deals, field events, and executive briefings.
  • Help elevate SE + seller conversations from “feature tours” to problem-solving discussions.
  • Shape Market-Facing Assets: Inform product positioning, solution narratives, and launch moments with technical truth.
  • Partner with broader PMM to influence messaging, enablement, and campaign assets with hands-on insight.
  • Support analyst and customer conversations where technical depth is required.
