Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, with meaningful ownership of integrations, platform, or API products.
  • Real accounts payable and accounting domain depth, understanding the AP lifecycle, GL coding, chart of accounts and dimension structures, AP subledger vs. GL, accruals, month-end close, and posting periods.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple ERPs (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica, QuickBooks, Sage, or comparable mid-market systems), with a working sense of their differences.
  • Genuinely technical understanding of REST and SOAP, authentication, token handling, pagination, rate limits, webhooks, idempotency, retry behavior, and file-based integration patterns.
  • Ability to write specs that engineers do not need to reinterpret.
  • Experience working closely with engineers on daily standups, design discussions, and debugging sessions.
  • Product go-to-market experience, including positioning, release communications, sales and support enablement, and partner/marketplace launches.
  • Analytical rigor, comfortable pulling and analyzing data to inform decisions.
  • Experience with B2B SaaS, preferably in Fintech, AP/AR, accounting, or ERP-adjacent products.

Nice To Haves

  • Background as an ERP implementation consultant, AP manager, controller, or solutions architect.
  • Experience with ISV partner programs and certifications (Built for NetSuite, Microsoft AppSource, Sage Intacct Marketplace, Intuit).
  • Familiarity with iPaaS or accounting-aggregation layers (Agave, Codat, Rutter).
  • Purchase order and procurement depth (two-way and three-way match, receipts, subcontracts, drop-ship flows).
  • Experience with multi-entity, multi-location, or hospitality-vertical accounting complexity.
  • Experience retiring legacy systems while migrating live customers onto a new platform.
  • Prior use of AI tooling for specs, data analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the integrations roadmap across flagship ERPs and the long-tail portfolio, covering outbound AP bills, Vendor Pay payments, and journal entries, plus inbound sync of vendors, chart of accounts, dimensions, purchase orders, receipts, catalog items, and payment terms.
  • Drive platform consolidation by migrating legacy customer-specific integrations onto the modern platform and retiring duplicated paths.
  • Specify integrations precisely, owning data-mapping requirements, defaulting and validation rules, and multi-entity and intercompany routing decisions.
  • Ensure accounting accuracy, including posting date and period determination, dimension hierarchies, charge and line-type handling, PO matching, bill splitting, payment reverse sync, 1099 compliance, and posting-period reconciliation.
  • Own integration reliability as a product surface, including export monitoring, error handling, retry behavior, and customer-visible failure messaging, and turning recurring tickets into roadmap items.
  • Make integrations self-serve by pushing configuration out of engineering and into onboarding and Solutions tooling.
  • Own partner and marketplace go-to-market, including NetSuite SuiteApp certification, Business Central AppSource publishing, and related partner motions.
  • Manage the release process, including scoping, release readiness, release notes, internal enablement, and GTM materials for Sales and Solutions.
  • Prioritize engineering efforts using data such as MRR, customer counts, escalation volume, and export success rates.

  • Employer sponsored 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid Time Off (and the encouragement to use it).
  • Annual company retreats.
