Our client is seeking a Tech Purchasing Advisor to negotiate favorable terms, manage contracts, and procure technical equipment, custom engineered products, software, and systems. This role serves as a senior subject matter expert responsible for developing enterprise procurement training programs and applying business process improvement principles to enhance procurement capabilities and contract literacy across the organization. Job Discipline - Technical Purchasing: Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of technical equipment, custom engineered products, systems, software, or components. Acquires and maintains an understanding of technology trends, market forces, cost trends, and supplier technology roadmaps. Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to organization policy, discusses defects and delivery problems with suppliers, and negotiates refunds.
