About The Position

The Senior Tech Support Specialist - Engineering is responsible for the complete development of project CAD construction drawing packages, including main installation and retirement, all services affected by the project, and individual work orders in SAP. This role involves creating main and service tables, drafting job procedures, confirming gas pipe flow pressures using GasCalc software, and drafting new regulator stations and commercial meter sets using CAD and SAP. The specialist will also be responsible for all leak survey CAD maps, updating land base for composite maps, adding station numbers to drawings for state highway projects, scanning and saving construction drawings, and logging Mass Highway jobs. Additionally, they will provide requested gas utility information, support various departments with drafting needs, and handle work order estimates in SAP for marketing and construction. This includes site visits, accompanying CAD drawings, dig-safe procedures, permits, and creating business partners and quotes in SAP for customer charge projects. The role also involves maintaining plotters, ordering materials, compiling system and state compliance maps, creating variant reports, adding PEDA restriction areas, assisting in training new employees, maintaining the standard CAD library, and supporting the operations manager with mapping and drawing requests. The specialist will also post as-built drawings, create new DigSafe tickets, pre-mark projects for Digsafe, and use ZGServe in SAP to create service listings.
