Technicians are responsible for precision hand paintings of small subassemblies using fine tools under a microscope. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, steady hand control, and the ability to maintain focus while seated for extended periods. The technician ensures all work meets strict quality and production standards in a controlled manufacturing environment. Technicians will be expected to wear company provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and strictly follow all safety related processes, procedures, and protocols. This is a 2nd shift, onsite position.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations
  • Must be a U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, protected individual, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or individual granted refugee or asylee status in the U.S.)

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed hand painting of small subassemblies using brushes, needles, or other fine applicators
  • Work under a microscope for extended periods to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Follow detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Inspect painted components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to safety and contamination control protocols
  • Track and document production activities, including quantities completed and defects identified
  • Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to address process improvements or defects
  • Handle delicate components with care to prevent damage during processing
  • Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality standards
