About The Position

This is an onsite role five days a week at our client location in Pittsburgh, Dallas, or Cleveland. For this role on this particular client engagement, employer sponsorship of immigration related visa and/or green card status as part of the PERM process will not be available. The role involves analyzing, defining, and documenting detailed REST API requirements through user interviews, facilitated workshops, and subject-matter expert engagement. It requires developing a clear understanding of core accountabilities within processes and data, ensuring focus on the highest-priority business needs. The position also includes gathering requirements, translating them into user stories, creating swaggers, and articulating them to the team. Responsibilities extend to participating in the development of future business processes and organizational structures, documenting future processes to proactively improve current business, and examining processes holistically to understand the impact of changes on people, strategy, systems, and general business operations. The role also focuses on developing continuous improvement processes and strategies, collaborating with stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities, delivering fact-based findings and recommendations, and escalating issues. Establishing a network of subject matter experts, developing and maintaining effective working relationships, and generating reports with recommended improvements are key. Additionally, the role involves building the business case for process or system changes, providing input into change management and implementation, and developing and issuing communications for business process changes. Problems and mitigations are escalated to the Manager.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of work experience as Business Systems Analyst
  • Banking Domain Experience is a MUST
  • Strong business analysis skills
  • Experience working in agile framework
  • REST API (Web services) and Microservices expertise with SWAGGER is must
  • Strong leadership and collaborative skills with willingness to take ownership and responsibility for multiple assignments
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills, and ability to adapt quickly
  • Self-motivation and strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to tackle challenging work situations and to resolve conflicts in a positive manner
  • Strong communications (verbal and written) skills and solid technical writing experience

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with supporting area management and staff.
  • Generates and compiles reports, complete with recommended improvements to business processes and operational procedures.
  • Builds the business case for a process or system change and provides detailed input into the change management and implementation.
  • Develops and issues communications for business process changes.
  • Escalates problems and mitigations to Manager.
