About The Position

The Senior Team Lead is a front-line supervisor who plays a pivotal role in supporting identified staff by providing direction and support for staff training and coordination, workflow coordination and implementation, caseload support, and administrative support in the operational delivery of services. This position assists in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that promote engagement and access to services. The Senior Team Lead will support ancillary and identified BHT staff. In addition, they may also support Team Leads.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma with additional credit hours, certification or AA degree.
  • 5 years' experience in case management or care coordination in behavioral or mental health.
  • May substitute 1 year of residential behavior intervention experience for 1 year required experience.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Able to pass 5 panel drug test & submit to regular screening.
  • Valid AZ DPS Level I fingerprint clearance card (must maintain valid card throughout employment).
  • CPR, First Aid, AED certification, if required (must maintain throughout employment).
  • Current, valid Driver’s License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirements.
  • Initial current negative TB test result, if required (Employer provides).

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to the organization's treatment philosophy, Trauma informed Behavioral Approach (TIBA).
  • Cultivates the core of the model, Foundational Four, within the program.
  • Assist in on-boarding and training new staff members in policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to team members to support skill development and performance improvement.
  • Monitor staff compliance with documentation and service delivery standards, offering feedback and support as needed.
  • Identify training trends and reports to training department.
  • First line support with electronic health record. Submit tickets as needed.
  • Help facilitate team meetings, training, and workshops in coordination with the Supervisor/Manager/Director.
  • Assist with case coverage by providing direct care support when needed, including member contact, documentation, and service coordination.
  • Work with Site Director and Clinical Director in implementing and monitoring operational workflows.
  • Coordinate and monitor work schedules.
  • Monitor productivity, engagement (no shows/cancellations) and help troubleshoot barriers in service delivery with staff and leadership.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance documentation (i.e. assessments, treatment plans) and engagement activity. Communicate with staff and leaders as necessary ensuring compliance.
  • Support internal audits, quality improvement initiatives, and data collection activities.
  • Conducts and/or assists with team meetings.
  • Participation in staff meetings and required supervision with Supervisor.
  • Responsible for following any policies, procedures, and controls established by the organization, the HIPAA Privacy Officer, and/or the HIPAA Security Officer regarding access to, protection of, and the use of the PHI.
  • Maintains an approved and flexible schedule, and acceptable level of attendance.
  • Performs other duties as needed in relation to program operations.
