About The Position

CLA is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their Carolantaville Tax team. This role involves working with privately held businesses across various industries such as manufacturing, logistics, construction, and real estate. The associate will gain exposure to complex tax matters, build client relationships, and develop specialized expertise. This is an in-office position located in Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, Raleigh, or Winston-Salem.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in public accounting or a professional services firm.
A knack for solving issues and confidently bring solutions to the table.
Enjoy working with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically.
Earned or hopeful to earn your EA, CPA, or JD license in the near future.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and supervise a variety of tax engagements, including S corporation, partnership, and other pass-through entity returns, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
Partner with clients and engagement teams to provide customized tax compliance and advisory services, helping clients navigate complex tax matters and achieve their business objectives.
Research and analyze technical tax issues, developing practical recommendations and solutions for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Manage multiple engagements and priorities, driving operational excellence while maintaining exceptional client service.
Build and strengthen client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and a commitment to delivering value.
Mentor and develop team members by providing coaching, technical guidance, and support for professional growth.
Expand technical and industry expertise through hands-on client experience, ongoing learning opportunities, and collaboration with experienced tax professionals.
Contribute to a broad range of tax engagements, including C corporation returns, tax provisions, and individual tax returns, as business needs require.
