About The Position

As a Senior Tax Analyst at Schneider Downs, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Tax Advisory Services practice. You will tackle a variety of exciting projects, from preparing and reviewing corporate, individual and partnership tax returns to engaging in tax compliance, research, transaction analysis and planning. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • A minimum of three years of public accounting experience
  • CPA license eligibility
  • A highly motivated self-starter with strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key member of the engagement team, providing various tax compliance and advisory services
  • Prepare and review tax returns for a variety of clients, from middle-market to multinational companies
  • Keep up-to-date with new standards and laws, participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses
  • Proactively communicate with your team and clients on complex tax matters
  • Focus on your development through tailored coaching and mentoring, and learn from direct on-the-job experiences
  • Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit at a firm that values new ideas and innovation
  • Support the growth and development of your team members through coaching and mentoring
