About The Position

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support the analysis, modeling, and execution of global tax planning initiatives. This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA (5 days per week). This role is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business
3 - 5 years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational company
Experience with tax software (OneSource preferred)
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Bachelor's degree.
2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in taxation, CPA preferred
Experience in tax planning and international tax in public accounting and/or multinational companies
Ability to work independently on tax research projects and document conclusions under the direction of senior tax team members
Team-oriented, with the ability to operate successfully in a matrix environment and strong influencing and communication skills

Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and supporting schedules related to international operations, including GILTI/NCTI, Subpart F, FDDEI, and foreign tax credits (FTC).
Build and maintain complex tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings of business plans and tax projects.
Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in U.S. and foreign tax laws and regulations; quantify and model the impacts of legislative developments.
Support the international tax aspects of tax compliance process.
Drive tax process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency, automation, and technology adoption.
Support additional projects and ad hoc analyses, as needed.
