The Senior Tax Accountant will join a public accounting firm serving individuals and businesses with tax return preparation, accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services. This is a newly created position to support the firm’s growth and increasing client demand. The role is primarily onsite in Franklin County, Massachusetts, with flexibility once established. Full-time and part-time arrangements are available, with hourly compensation of $25–$50 or salaried options. The position focuses primarily on preparing individual tax returns, along with business returns. The accountant will prepare returns independently; review experience is useful but not required. The role also includes some client bookkeeping and work with 1099 clients and small to mid-size businesses, including multistate filers. The firm describes its culture as relaxed, business casual, and low-pressure, and offers autonomy and flexibility in managing work hours. There may be a path to ownership through a possible buyout for the right person after a few years.
