About The Position

Engine is seeking a Product Recruiter to manage hiring for Product Delivery roles, including Product Managers, Product Designers, and Growth roles, from senior individual contributors to leadership positions. This role involves partnering directly with C-level leaders and Directors to build the product team. The position is hands-on, requiring the candidate to build the sourcing strategy, interview process, and hiring bar for design at Engine from the ground up. This includes shaping portfolio calibration, evaluation rubrics, stakeholder alignment, and market mapping. The ideal candidate will be proactive in creating a recruiting playbook rather than inheriting one.

Requirements

  • Deep experience hiring Product Managers, Product Design, Growth/Marketing, and adjacent talent.
  • A track record of building recruiting processes and functions from 0 to 1.
  • A sharp eye for design quality and confidence running portfolio reviews and design-specific evaluation loops.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage C-level and Director-level partners, push back when needed, and drive progress.
  • The ability to influence with data, using pipeline metrics, funnel analytics, market benchmarks, and compensation data.
  • Speed and resilience, with the ability to move fast without dropping the ball and thrive in ambiguity.
  • Willingness and ability to pivot into Product hiring as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Run full-cycle recruitment for Product Delivery roles, including sourcing, screening, portfolio review, interview process design, closing, and offer negotiation.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Growth leaders as a talent advisor.
  • Redesign the Product Design hiring process at Engine, including rubrics, interview loops, portfolio review standards, calibration sessions, and scorecards.
  • Develop deep market maps of the design community and build long-term pipelines of exceptional creative talent.
  • Utilize data to influence hiring decisions, forecast pipeline health, and maintain a high hiring bar.
  • Manage senior stakeholders, including C-level and Director-level partners, with clarity, speed, and confidence.
  • Represent Engine's brand and mission to top-tier candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Flex into GTM recruitment and other areas as priorities shift.

Benefits

  • Competitive base pay tied to role and experience
  • Equity for all employees
  • Potential for bonuses or commissions depending on the role
  • Hybrid-hub model with support for in-office or remote work
