About The Position

Hut 8 is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner for its Energy Origination team. This role will be responsible for building and leading the talent acquisition strategy to attract specialized talent in the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. The position involves owning the full search lifecycle, understanding business needs, mapping the talent market, and building relationships to fill hard-to-fill roles. The partner will collaborate closely with the Energy Origination leadership team, becoming knowledgeable about their market to provide the necessary talent for business scaling. Key responsibilities include translating business priorities into hiring plans, identifying market constraints, advising on niche talent acquisition, building and maintaining pipelines of energy professionals, developing a deep understanding of the energy market, managing the end-to-end candidate experience, and tracking market intelligence on compensation and competitor activity.

Requirements

  • Recruited specialized talent in energy, power, infrastructure, or a closely adjacent field.
  • Understands the difference between posting a job and actually finding the people who don't apply.
  • Worked directly with senior stakeholders and know how to push back, not just execute.
  • Comfortable building from scratch in a company that moves fast.
  • Experience recruiting for specialized roles in energy, power, or infrastructure, either in-house or on the agency side — you can speak credibly about the market, not just source from it.
  • Ability to earn trust with senior leaders — you advise, not just report.
  • Strong market knowledge: you know where energy talent lives, what motivates them, and how to reach them.
  • Deep understanding of the Energy Origination process and the broader energy and power industry, with genuine curiosity to go deeper.
  • Comfortable holding structure and rigor across multiple searches simultaneously without losing urgency or attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is energized by ambiguity rather than slowed by it.
  • Must be based in Miami, onsite five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the talent acquisition strategy and execution for the Energy Origination team, attracting highly specialized talent in the energy, power, and infrastructure sectors, including power developers, energy analysts, land and permitting specialists, and project finance professionals.
  • Own the full search lifecycle, understanding where the business is going, mapping the talent market ahead of need, and building the relationships that make hard-to-fill roles a success.
  • Partner closely with Hut 8’s Energy Origination leadership team, becoming fluent in the market they operate in and be a trusted partner to bring them the talent required to scale the business.
  • Serve as a strategic talent acquisition partner to the Energy Origination leadership team, translate business priorities into hiring plans, flag market constraints early, and bring your point of view on how to compete for niche talent in the energy, power, and infrastructure market.
  • Build and maintain a live pipeline of specialized energy professionals through industry conferences, professional associations, and direct outreach, not just when there's an open role.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the energy, power and infrastructure markets deep enough to hold credible conversations with candidates and hiring managers about the work itself.
  • Own the candidate experience end-to-end, from first contact through offer, with the speed and transparency that competitive energy talent expects.
  • Track and share market intelligence on compensation, talent availability, and competitor hiring activity to inform Hut 8's positioning.

Benefits

  • medical, dental, vision, life, and short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • paid time off
