About The Position

COLSA Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Systems Test Engineer to provide technical and engineering support for major IT Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC) at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.

Requirements

Technical and engineering support for major IT Test and Evaluation (T&E) efforts
Supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division (AFLCMC/HNC)
Experience with Design of Experiments methods
Ability to prepare test criteria, technical analyses, specifications, cost estimates, test plans, and technical reports
Apply appropriate engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate complex technical problems and test data
Review test results and conclusions to evaluate their quality, completeness, and overall adequacy
Develop effective approaches to address technical problems and challenges encountered during testing
Evaluate test environments to ensure they are properly configured, capable, operationally relevant, and available to support thorough testing of software releases, including fault insertion and fault identification
Resolve scheduling conflicts between multiple releases and provide analysis and recommendations to the program test lead
Work independently with general guidance, with work reviewed as needed for technical quality and completeness

Responsibilities

Support all phases of testing, including test concept and methodology development, test planning, test execution and reporting, data analysis, and end-user operational testing.
Use Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
Prepare test criteria, technical analyses, specifications, cost estimates, test plans, and technical reports, or provide direction to others in their preparation.
Apply appropriate engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate complex technical problems and test data.
Review test results and conclusions to evaluate their quality, completeness, and overall adequacy.
