About The Position

Designs and delivers features for provisioning, onboarding, and platform services, owning small-to-medium components end-to-end. Performs cross-layer debugging across kernel and user space, firmware interfaces, and hardware signals to identify root causes and mitigations. Monitors and tunes performance, capacity, and error budgets for owned services or drivers, adding observability and guardrails. Enhances automation for fleet operations and improves CI/CD, validation, and conformance tests. Participates in schematic and board reviews to identify firmware and software implications, and supports early bring-up with targeted diagnostics. The role develops system software and tooling for managing, monitoring, and provisioning servers, storage, networking, and GPU subsystems in a hyperscale environment. It independently develops and deploys automation for hardware provisioning and server onboarding, integrates and validates system firmware with hardware, and collaborates on platform bring-up, firmware updates, diagnostics, and cross-layer debugging. The engineer diagnoses issues across software, firmware, and hardware in DevOps and incident response contexts to maintain reliability and availability, working with platform engineering, operations, firmware development, silicon and board vendors, and data center teams. The position also designs and implements software features, APIs, testing, quality assurance, logging, monitoring, and observability; reviews code; troubleshoots software and integration issues; and contributes to architecture-aligned performance and scalability improvements.
