About The Position

TSTC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead the design, development, integration, and sustainment of complex C4ISR and information warfare systems. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical experience, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to guide multidisciplinary engineering teams. Experience working with geospatial systems is required. TSTC is looking for candidates for this Key Personnel position that meet or exceed the stated requirements; are excited to join our team and willing to sign a binding letter of commitment; and can start 2 to 3 weeks after notification of contract award.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience, with demonstrated systems engineering leadership
  • Experience with geospatial systems, geospatial data standards, or related mission applications
  • Knowledge of requirements management tools, modeling approaches, and systems engineering methodologies
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Skilled in MS office Suite
  • Works independently, proactively identifies, and completes task
  • Excellent verbal and written skill
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Currently hold a Top Secret security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Lead systems engineering activities across the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture development, integration, test, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Develop, analyze, and maintain system architectures, interface specifications, and technical documentation for enterprise-level systems.
  • Perform requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification planning in accordance with DoD and Navy systems engineering practices.
  • Coordinate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, data, and program management teams to ensure cohesive technical solutions.
  • Lead system performance assessments, trade studies, and risk management activities.
  • Guide configuration management and engineering change processes.
  • Prepare high‑quality technical reports, engineering plans, and briefings for both technical and executive‑level audiences.
  • Support field tests, demonstrations, and operational assessments, including geospatial data workflows and mission applications.
