We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team! This key position supports programs in the development and production of focal plane arrays by coordinating with other disciplines to ensure that all requirements are met. The Senior Systems Engineer works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to generate clear, well-written documents
  • Proficient at organizing, analyzing, and interpreting engineering test data
  • Skilled at presenting technical information to internal teams and external customers
  • Ability to proactively and independently assimilate complex information
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively interact, cooperate, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Aptitude for process standardization and continuous process improvement
  • Experience leading failure analysis and root cause investigations
  • Hands on experience performing test and debug activities
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar)
  • Background in at least one of the following domains: imaging systems, semiconductors, high speed PCB design, optics, or cryogenic testing
  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related field with at least 10 years of experience in imaging, aerospace, semiconductor, or similar industry
  • U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Function as program technical lead
  • Serve as point of contact for customers
  • Lead the review, documentation, allocation, and verification of requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and validate models and simulations.
  • Perform and document design trade studies
  • Develop verification and test plans
  • Support test activities and review test data
