The Senior Systems Engineer develops solutions and supports the sales & operations teams with proposal generation of security technology systems and implementation. The successful candidate for this position will be innovative, open minded, self-motivated with a professional attitude, have good communication skills and is a team player.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and have excellent follow-up skills in order to drive accurate completion
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation
  • Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
  • Follows safe and secure practices to safeguard against injury, damage to property and confidential information
  • 10+ years of experience in similar position in the security technologies field
  • Industry relevant knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Bluebeam Revu
  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, and IP Networking
  • Manufacturer Certifications: S2, Genetec, CCure 800/9000, Milestone, Salient, Open Path, or other security technology platforms

Responsibilities

  • Support sales & operations teams with timely and accurate security technology solutions development; to include access control, video surveillance, biometrics, network infrastructure, etc.
  • Facilitate Sales/Engineering to Operations turnover meetings
  • Generate project submittal packages and transmittal forms
  • Produce shop drawings followed by O&M manuals and As-Built drawings
  • Generation of technical scope of work and methods of procedure for solution implementation
  • Work with, and develop relationships with technology partners and distribution channels
  • Analyze blueprints, technical design specifications, and site survey information to produce compliant and accurate engineered solutions and proposals to meet client operational and security needs.
  • Organize solution review and technical discussions with internal and external teams
  • Play an active role and lead in the development of forward-thinking CAD standards
  • Research and evaluate emerging security technologies to add tools to the solutions toolbox
  • Other duties as the business and client needs arise
