About The Position

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will join the Air Traffic Solutions – Whole Life Engineering Department (ATS-WLE) for an exciting career opportunity in Systems Engineering. In this role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of 50+ engineers representing several WLE disciplines who support globally deployed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and related systems, including Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) and Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), which provide vital safety-of-life air traffic management support for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), for the Department of Defense (DoD), and for international counterparts. Our systems enable seamless control and navigation for civil and military aviation. Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
2 years experience in logistics and supportability analysis, including provisioning.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

Experience conducting logistics and supportability analysis in accordance with the requirements of the GEIA-0007 series.
Experience performing work related to operations and maintenance of ATC systems, including networking hardware, radar/signal inputs, or general information technology infrastructure racks and consoles.

Responsibilities

Perform program tasks related to logistics and supportability analysis, including provisioning.
Present solutions and technical details to team leads, management, and important customer representatives and serve as a subject matter expert to support critical customer responsibilities.
Work on hardware in a laboratory environment to gather data, verify logistics management information, and related data.
Travel to RTX and customer sites as needed.
