In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA), we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. You will be a technical member of the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Systems Engineering Group that is responsible supporting design, development, integration, implementation, test and verification/validation of EW systems across multiple business areas. As team engineer level contributor, you will be responsible for and support technologies on next-generation military/commercial applications. You will also perform, delivering technical value, in the role of a Systems Engineer, for programs ranging from developing prototypes, full rate production, and sustainment of systems. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Requirements

  • Hold an active Secret clearance
  • BS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 4 years' experience in field
  • Experience with systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust to dynamic project needs.
  • Some knowledge of C++ or other software programming languages.
  • Experience integration in a system integration lab.

Nice To Haves

  • Hold an active Top Secret clearance
  • MS in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Software or equivalent plus 4 years' experience in field
  • Understanding of the applications of active and passive sensing in the Electronic Warfare (EW) field
  • RF theory and wireless communication experience
  • Experience with MBSE
