About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in growing and managing a team developing digital engineering and mission analysis capabilities for the Department of Defense. We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing software to connect physics-based Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools in a Digital Engineering Environment. Candidates should understand the benefits of a Digital Thread, be conversant on the strengths and weaknesses of existing MBSE tools, and be passionate about improving systems engineering process to solve real warfighter problems. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance
  • BS, MS, or PhD in engineering, computer science, physics, operations research, applied mathematics, or a closely related field
  • 10+ years relevant work experience with BS
  • 8+ years relevant work experience with MS
  • Experience going from problem statement to prototype to production-ready products
  • Experience with Digital Transformation strategies, setting up ecosystems and environments, and providing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) architectures
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) v2
  • Broad understanding of warfare models (engagement, mission analysis, and campaign analysis software) or specific domain expertise (e.g., lethality, guidance, propulsion, EW, etc.)
  • Experience marketing and writing proposals
  • DoD cybersecurity and cyber risk assessment experience
  • Existing DoD security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Developing Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products for DoD Systems
  • Marketing new ideas and presenting to potential customers
  • Managing projects through technical leadership
  • Influencing the development of software to connect engagement, mission, and campaign analysis tools for the DoD
