About The Position

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community. This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement customer integrations and/or objectives. This position also supports MBSE digital engineering efforts. The position works in a SCIF environment with flexible work hours to accommodate work/life balance practices.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with Systems installation, integration and test experience.
  • Experience with technical and project management engineering
  • Experience with internal and external customers in a team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor.)
  • Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impacts reviews and assessment
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods
  • Experience with customer relationship and presentations
  • Experience working across contract and location boundaries
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and MBSE/CAMEO beneficial
  • Programming/Scripting languages (C++, Java, Python, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Provides systems engineering and integration support to assess, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition.
  • Manages system integration projects and provides reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades.
  • Communicate with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures and practices.
