About The Position

ASRC Federal Mission Solutions is seeking highly motivated Systems Engineers to support the continued development and sustainment of the U.S. Navy's Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, New Jersey. The role offers the opportunity to design, integrate and test, and conduct data analysis to assess Combat System performance. The position supports real-time, mission-critical defense systems through systems engineering, software engineering, system integration, and project management services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field and 5–7 years of related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance or other authorization within the timeframe required by applicable contracts.
Understanding of an Agile development environment.
Experience performing systems and data analysis.
Functional knowledge of Combat Systems.
Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: architecture, requirements development, trade studies, algorithm design, or modeling and simulation.
Proficiency in C++, Java, MATLAB, or Python.

Nice To Haves

Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Large-scale Combat Systems design and development experience, including algorithms, software, data analysis, and modeling and simulation.
Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics, and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in the defense industry or a related field.
Systems Engineering background.
