About The Position

For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Senior Systems Engineer. This exciting position will support NAVWAR/PEO C4I programs by applying disciplined systems engineering practices to DoD Acquisition Category II-III programs and Abbreviated Acquisition Programs. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical contributor who helps the program office understand product status, engineering risks, integration challenges, vendor performance, and technical issues that affect delivery to end users. You will work directly with original equipment manufacturers, vendors, and government stakeholders to translate complex technical information into clear program-level insight that supports sound decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting DoD Acquisition Category II-III programs or Abbreviated Acquisition Programs, preferably within NAVWAR or PEO C4I.
  • Experience working directly with original equipment manufacturers, vendors, or product suppliers under contract for end-user systems.
  • Ability to translate technical status, challenges, risks, and issues into clear updates for government program offices.
  • Experience integrating network operating systems, application programs, software, web-based capabilities, and hardware devices.
  • Ability to support hybrid software, web, hardware, and IT product development from requirements and specifications through rollout, sustainment, and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, integration, verification, validation, risk management, and technical documentation.
  • Ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders, document engineering decisions, and support program-level decision-making.
  • 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a Master’s degree in an engineering discipline or 15+ years of experience in systems engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance.
