About The Position

Leidos Defense is seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer to join the IFPC Inc 2 systems engineering team. IFPC Inc 2 is a ground-based, mobile system designed to combat cruise missiles and unmanned aircraft systems. As part of the Indirect Fire Protection Capability program, it protects civilian and military infrastructure and bridges the gap between tactical short-range air defense systems and strategic systems. The engineer will lead and manage program verification efforts by owning verification and validation processes, planning detailed verification objectives, managing a verification burndown, and closing out verification of requirements from the system level through the component level. The role also requires developing systems engineering artifacts, including Requirements Specifications, Test Procedures, Test Reports, CONOPS, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) content. Leidos Defense delivers systems, solutions, and services across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace to support customers worldwide. Its teams address defense challenges through advanced engineering, technology, and mission-focused solutions.
