About The Position
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team in Fort Belvoir, VA. This role is to support their customer, Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2).
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ten (10) years of direct relevant experience is required
- An additional ten (10) years of experience may substitute the degree requirement
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline preferred
Responsibilities
- Interact with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design
- Participate in the development of test strategies
- Solve engineering problems (or managing the solution of engineering problems) in the functional area to which assigned
- Provide engineering support to PM E2S2 divisions and Product Management Offices across the product lifecycle applying principles, processes, and doctrine of DoD acquisition
