About The Position

Analyzes and monitors the organization's cyber security measures; responds to actual penetration attempts by malicious hackers. This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy: Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month. This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future. Requirements

  • Maintain system/service and information security, integrity, compliance and continuity.
  • Utilize the appropriate modeling tool(s) to diagram the requirements from data and state changes, process and process improvements, as well as use cases and user stories.
  • Acquire, organize, protect and process data in order to fulfill business objectives.
  • Review and evaluate recommendations and requirements and to develop appropriate plans or deliver actions required.
  • Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology, High School (HS) (Required)
  • General Experience - 3 to 6 years

Responsibilities

  • Implement required security measures, such as firewalls or message encryption, and provide input on their design, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems.
  • Provide fault isolation and resolution for complex challenges to limit and address issues promptly.
  • Create and maintain complex technical and/or user documentation to a high standard, and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
  • Discuss and recommend technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/applications software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
