About The Position

McBride Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management Division (C3BM), aligned with the Data Mission Integration Team (MIT). C3BM is tasked with delivering an integrated Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network that provides resilient decision advantage and enables the USAF, USSF, Joint, and Coalition forces to meet the pacing challenge. The Data MIT translates operational requirements into technical solutions, develops integrated architectures, assesses risks, supports acquisition execution strategies, and coordinates test and evaluation activities to deliver capabilities to operational users. The selected candidate will provide systems engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture development, system integration, sustainment, and disposal. The role supports mission integration, enterprise architecture and interoperability, capability risk assessment and mitigation, acquisition execution, and test and evaluation planning. It also focuses on DAF Battle Network Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM): documenting requirements, evaluating existing solutions, identifying preferred solutions and capability gaps, supporting gap-mitigation plans, and maintaining strategy documentation. The engineer will develop and analyze system architectures and models, conduct trade studies, create verification and validation plans, and serve as a technical liaison among government program offices, prime contractors, operational users, and other stakeholders. The position also involves producing technical briefings, engineering documentation, reports, recommendations, and acquisition artifacts for Government leadership. This is a full-time, 100% onsite position at Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts. Travel may be required at the customer's discretion.
