About The Position

A leading biotechnology company is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - Testing to support systems engineering efforts by identifying software and hardware vulnerabilities and executing integration testing activities. This role focuses on developing and executing test strategies, analyzing sensor data, and supporting product validation in a regulated environment.

Requirements

8+ years of relevant experience in testing, validation, or systems engineering.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Software, or related field).
Experience with test method validation (TMV), design of experiments (DoE), and data analysis (Python preferred).
Strong experience in test development, execution, troubleshooting, and defect lifecycle management.

Nice To Haves

Experience in FDA or FAA-regulated environments is preferred.
Medical device industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with systems engineers to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities and support integration and validation testing activities.
Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans, including test method validation (TMV), design of experiments (DoE), and hands-on testing protocols.
Build and maintain test beds; perform troubleshooting and analyze digital sensor outputs using data analysis techniques (including Python).
Manage the defect lifecycle, including collection, documentation, tracking, and summarization for development partners.
Author detailed technical reports and documentation to support testing outcomes and product development.
