About The Position

The Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking for a Senior IT Systems Analyst with advanced product analyst experience to join the Shareholder Reporting team. The Shareholder Reporting team supports the applications that our business partners use to generate prospectuses, financial statements, and regulatory filings. This position is ideal for a client obsessed, strategic thinker with deep analytical skills and who thrives at the intersection of business operations, data and product innovation. Your role will blend leadership and planning expertise with a passion for delivering results. This role requires a self-starter who can champion collaboration and cultivate a close partnership with business and the development teams to help craft and implement solutions on both client and server-side technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as a product analyst, business analyst, or similar role in a digital or operational transformation environment focused on customer or associate facing solutions.
• Strong understanding of operations workflows and processes, preferably in financial services or other regulated industry.
• Proficient with tools such as JIRA, JIRA Align, Confluence, Miro, or other analytics and product planning tools.
• Proficient with agile development methodologies.
• Strong communicator with proven stakeholder management and storytelling skills.
• Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general.
• Strong understanding and experience with complex relational database schemas and SQL management tools.
• Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements and operational processes into intuitive, actionable product requirements.
• Inform product strategy and delivery, including opportunity identification, solution design, and working with technology teams for delivery.
• Work with cross-functional product teams, engineering teams and business stakeholders.
• Effectively convey in technology terms verbal and written with usage of data and visualizations.
• Identify issues, explore solutions and identify next course of action.
• Have hard conversations with business stakeholders thru strong presentation skills of the data and analysis that helps influence the outcome of their decisions.
