About The Position

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring an Senior System Administrator to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of software systems, network infrastructure, servers, applications, and communication technologies across distributed environments.
  • Skilled in installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software solutions.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving end-user software, application, and network connectivity issues in local and remote environments.
  • Ability to support complex operational systems across multiple locations, including system maintenance, new installations, upgrades, and remote support.
  • Knowledge of application networking, load balancing, fault-tolerant architectures, and vulnerability management practices.
  • Ability to analyze technical requirements, recommend technology solutions aligned with business needs, provide end-user training, and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Seven (7) years of progressive experience in Information Processing, including six (6) years working across specialized information technology disciplines involving a range of hardware and software solutions.
  • At least four (4) years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting various software applications and systems.
  • Computing Environment certification
  • SAP certification
  • 8570 Baseline IAT Level I
  • Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the reliable operation and performance of software systems, network connections, servers, and applications across multiple locations.
  • Plans, installs, configures, maintains, upgrades, and optimizes network and application environments while troubleshooting end-user software and connectivity issues.
  • Provides user training, local and remote technical support, and recommendations for technology improvements aligned with business needs.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of application networking, load balancing, and fault-tolerant architectures, and performs vulnerability management to maintain secure and resilient systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.
