About The Position

SafeSplash Cedar Park, part of Streamline Brands, is seeking a Senior Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills in accordance with the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner. The instructor also trains new hires, monitors proper curriculum use, gives students and customers ongoing positive and corrective feedback, structures class time to support repetition and reinforcement while introducing required skills, and ensures swimmer safety. The role offers up to 36 hours per week and pays $16 per hour or more, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• Previous swim instruction experience.
• Proper knowledge of all four swimming strokes.

Nice To Haves

• Childcare or teaching experience.
• WSI certification.
• CPO knowledge.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certifications for adults, swimmers, and infants; the employer will help the hire obtain certification within 60 days.
• Experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years.
• Experience teaching swimmers with special needs.
