About The Position

Waterworks Aquatics is a swim school that teaches children ages 3 months and up, as well as adults, to swim. Its mission is to educate and motivate people to become safer swimmers and learn proper swimming technique. Instructors teach in warm, indoor pools and receive paid training and mentorship; prior teaching experience is not required. The role offers flexible scheduling, performance-based pay that can grow as the student schedule expands, and monthly bonuses for student renewals. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be able to tread water, lift up to 50 lbs, and safely demonstrate swimming techniques.
• Have First Aid/CPR/AED certification for infants, children, and adults, or be willing to obtain it with the company’s guidance.
• Complete a brief swim assessment during training.
• Be adaptable and adjust teaching style to each student.
• Be patient, approachable, and a clear communicator.
• Be self-responsible and give each lesson full attention.
• Demonstrate integrity and a passion for helping children build confidence and skills.
• Weekend availability is required.
