At NVIDIA, employees are passionate about parallel and visual computing, transforming graphics for work and play in areas like video game development, film production, deep learning, space exploration, medicine, computational finance, and automotive design. The company seeks passionate, hard-working, and creative individuals to help with these opportunities. As a Senior Supply Chain Planner for substrates, the role acts as a critical link within Operations, Engineering, and Business Units for substrates and their associated supply chain. The planner will own operations' supply commitments for substrates, which are essential for meeting customer and revenue commitments. This position involves placing purchase requests, closely monitoring deliveries for both new products and high-volume mass production substrates, and crafting optimized production schedules for multiple products and SKUs, considering factors like die availability, priorities, materials availability, and constraints. The role also involves driving decisions on dependent demands of materials and capacity to support the build plan and determining tradeoff options with internal partners when issues arise. Additionally, the planner will analyze substrate shortfalls to prepare supply summaries and forecasts for management.
