The Senior Supply Chain Analyst will lead strategic planning and supply chain initiatives with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and aligning operations with organizational goals. This role drives cross-functional projects, manages supplier negotiations, and oversees compliance while implementing advanced planning and forecasting strategies within an Aerospace & Defense manufacturing plant. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Dixon, IL facility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in scheduling production and supply chain in a complex manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel to perform simple & complex data analysis
  • MRP or ERP Understanding (Order Modifiers, MOQ, Multiples, ERP Exception messages, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle
  • Experience in lean manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Aerospace & Defense Products/Requirements
  • Good communication skills (via email & virtual meetings) and strong sense of teamwork
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively and efficiently

Responsibilities

  • Oversees advanced planning functions, including long-term demand forecasting and capacity planning.
  • Leads planning for smaller sites and integrates their requirements into overall supply chain objectives.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives and mentors junior team members.
  • Works to achieve program, functional, and/or business targets within the team with direct impact on departmental results
  • Communicates with employees both within and outside of the department on matters that require explanation, interpretation and/or advising; may communicate with external clients or partners depending upon the job function/organization
  • Responsible for making moderate improvements of programs, processes, procedures, or systems to contribute to the performance of the team
  • Provides assistance and training to lower-level employees
  • Works independently on moderately complex projects/assignments and sets objectives or goals of projects and assignments within team
  • Influences employees within the department at a program/process level regarding concepts or practices and some advisement on approaches
  • May lead significant parts of moderately complex projects or processes
  • Typically performs within department and has scope impact or insights across groups
