About The Position

Oracle is seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop end-to-end strategy for Memory and Storage products and technologies supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and on-premises platforms. This highly visible role manages supply in constrained infrastructure categories, presents to leadership, and interfaces with strategic partners on direction.

The role drives commercial negotiations, pricing strategy, long-term capacity planning, and supply chain resiliency. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and executive leadership, the manager helps ensure a scalable, cost-effective, and secure supply base that supports Oracle’s cloud growth. The position is a leading individual contributor and team member who provides direction and mentoring, and handles non-routine, complex work requiring advanced technical and business skills. Locations: Santa Clara, California; Seattle, Washington; Austin, Texas; or Nashville, Tennessee.

Requirements

• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or related technical and commercial roles.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills, including pricing strategy, supplier agreements, and supply commitments.
• Understanding of Memory and Storage technologies, semiconductor industry dynamics, and supplier technology roadmaps.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to navigate complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing business environments.
• Prefer 8 years of relevant experience.
• Prefer a BA/BS degree.

Nice To Haves

• Semiconductor industry experience, particularly in DRAM, NAND, SSD, or related Memory and Storage technologies.
• Experience in semiconductor or memory strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and long-term capacity planning.
• Experience aligning supplier technology roadmaps with business and engineering requirements.
• Semiconductor product marketing experience with strong technical and commercial knowledge may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-line-of-business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiencies.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for Memory and Storage products and technologies, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations, pricing, and long-term supply commitments.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and supplier teams to align technical requirements and technology roadmaps with sourcing strategies and supply planning.
• Create and implement supply chain initiatives and improvements to drive efficiencies and best practices.
• Apply balanced judgment and problem-solving in complex and ambiguous situations, while fostering exploration and deployment of new ideas.
• Mentor and provide leadership to colleagues, serving as an example of agility and adaptability.
• Build constructive stakeholder relationships and influence Oracle lines of business and suppliers.
• Act as the primary interface for supplier relationship management.
