About The Position

This position is responsible for the supervision of production Team Members for quality safety and any additional assignments deemed appropriate by management for this position. The individual in this position must work closely with the management team in achieving objectives; accept full accountability assignments and day-to-day department responsibility; must be a team player; Ensure compliance with all human resource and safety policies food safety sanitation and all other duties as determined by management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • General knowledge of production operations and techniques.
  • Knowledge of food safety.
  • Knowledge of product yields.
  • Knowledge of USDA regulations.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Minimal travel.
  • Supervisory skills: responsible for supervising a group of team members who perform various production tasks or activities.
  • Team Leader problem solving and special projects skills.
  • Good attendance and safety record.
  • Skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce.

  • Internal hourly specific requirements: Must have six (6) points or less at time of application or and must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Disciplinary records must show no suspensions within the last 12 months.
