About The Position

The Senior Supervisor Production (Rendering) is responsible for supervising production team members to ensure quality and safety and to handle additional assignments as determined by management. The supervisor works closely with the management team to achieve objectives, accepts accountability for assignments and day-to-day department responsibilities, and contributes as a team player. The role ensures compliance with human resources and safety policies, food safety, and sanitation requirements. The supervisor leads and motivates the hourly workforce, oversees production activities, and may work on special projects. Qualified internal candidates receive preference, beginning with team members at this facility, followed by candidates from other Tyson facilities and then external candidates. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
General knowledge of production operations and techniques, food safety, product yields, and USDA regulations.
Basic computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good attendance and safety record.
Ability to complete Tyson paperwork.
