About The Position

This role is responsible for developing and managing the Maintenance Training Program for the North Richland Hills and Dallas Plants. Key duties include organizing and preparing training materials (manuals, literature, systems) and leading instructional classes on various maintenance subjects, such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic systems, and more. Additional responsibilities include maintaining training aids, keeping accurate student records, and scheduling classes. The role also involves collaborating with external vendors (as approved by the Maintenance and Plant Managers) to ensure relevant training content and delivery, coordinating with the Safety Manager to lead maintenance safety training, and assessing hands-on training needs for maintenance personnel. Other duties may include covering for a Maintenance Supervisor during emergencies or other tasks assigned by the Manager. All Tyson Team Members are accountable for ensuring both personal safety and food safety.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5 plus years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the plant organization.
  • Must reside in the United States to be considered.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Maintenance Training experience.
  • Familiarity with Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in training techniques or subjects are a plus.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Strong safety and attendance record.
  • Effective management abilities.
  • Welding and cutting proficiency.
  • Expertise in pump-to-motor alignment.
