About The Position

The Aerospace Training Manager leads the delivery, oversight, and quality assurance of aerospace training and assessment programs. This role manages instructors and assessors while ensuring all courseware, evaluations, and client deliverables meet strict aerospace industry standards. The Manager is responsible for maintaining operational excellence, driving team performance, and ensuring the highest level of customer service in a professional environment. Flexibility is essential, as this position requires working beyond standard hours to meet operational needs and client demands. Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in aerospace training, assessment, or production leadership roles
  • Prior leadership or management experience preferred.
  • Strong technical background in aerospace manufacturing or maintenance
  • Proven ability to instruct, mentor, and lead technical teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new systems and software quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Military experience is highly valued.
  • Electrical systems (installations, crimping, soldering, troubleshooting)
  • Bonding and grounding
  • Aircraft assembly and structural work
  • Heavy and light structure drilling, fastener, and rivet installation
  • Aircraft sealant application
  • Blueprint reading and production standards.
  • Aircraft systems operation and troubleshooting
  • Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), including confined space, LOTTO, DOT, and fall protection.
  • Use of power tools and hand tools in production environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and supervise a team of Instructors and Industrial Skills Assessors across multiple locations and shifts.
  • Oversee and administer complex evaluation systems (hands-on and theoretical) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Ensure all training programs meet aerospace industry standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations.
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously while maintaining high-quality delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate instructor and assessor performance, providing feedback, mentorship, and corrective action when needed.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe industrial training environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, leadership, and internal teams regarding updates, issues, and performance.
  • Stay current on aerospace technologies, compliance requirements, and training methodologies.
