We are hiring a Senior Supervisor for our Cash Services division in Toronto, Ontario. Reporting to the CVS Manager, you will be in charge of the Cash Processing team. On a daily basis, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the work of your teams and ensuring customer satisfaction. We are looking for a passionate leader who will be able to establish great relationships with their unionized employees. Requirements
- Experience managing unionized staff
- Experience with cash handling and processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Attention to detail and ability to abide by operational and security policies and procedures
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and make decisions
- Ability to organize and prioritize work activities
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent customer service skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience and/or knowledge of the cash services industry is a definite asset
Responsibilities
- Managing the department’s resources and work processes cost effectively and efficiently
- Ensuring that the contractual obligations of customers are achieved
- Monitor and improve the department's profitability and security continually
- Maintaining accountability for the performance of the department
- Carrying on-the-job induction training
- Ensuring all positions are staffed and executed properly and on time
- Promoting the Health and Safety of Branch Personnel
- Monitoring service levels, taking corrective action where necessary
- Managing staff to maintain the highest level of operational efficiency
- Ensuring Company procedures, standards, and security guidelines are abided by
- Briefing departmental staff on operational and company matters
