Travel Senior Superintendent - Mission Critical

About The Position

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control, and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects. The role prepares and maintains project schedules and status reports, reviews progress with the Project Manager and client representatives, and directs subcontractor activities on pharma projects. The Senior Superintendent also analyzes manpower, materials, and equipment needs, implements field policies and work rules, and ensures safe work practices and safe operation of tools and equipment.

Requirements

10 or more years of field experience in commercial projects.
Experience that includes some supervisory responsibility as a General Foreman, Field Engineer, or Assistant Superintendent.
Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

Commercial construction experience.
Life Science construction experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare the project schedule and maintain reports accurately describing project status.
Coordinate field work cost-effectively, oversee quality control, and supervise subcontracted work forces day to day.
Review project status and progress regularly with the Project Manager and client representatives.
Ensure craftsmen and others follow safety standards and requirements when working in operational areas and operating tools and equipment; ensure tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Direct subcontractor activities within pharma projects.
Analyze manpower, material, and equipment requirements and coordinate those requirements with others as designated by the supervising superintendent.
Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and related work rules established by field construction management.
Prepare required reports and forecasts and keep supervisors informed about progress of assigned activities.
