About The Position

Our client is a nationally recognized construction firm and an ENR-ranked contractor with a reputation for quality, safety, innovation, and operational excellence. The Senior Superintendent will provide field leadership on complex mission critical construction projects, including data centers and other highly technical facilities. The role oversees field operations, coordinates subcontractors and trade partners, manages schedules, and ensures successful execution of construction activities in technically complex, schedule-driven environments. The position may require travel or relocation based on project assignments.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in construction field leadership, preferably with a large commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience as a Superintendent or Senior Superintendent on mission critical projects.
• Strong understanding of mission critical construction sequencing, logistics, and field coordination.
• Experience managing large subcontractor teams and complex construction operations.
• Knowledge of critical building systems, including electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, critical path activities, and project milestones.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, quality control, and safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project management, engineering, commissioning, and client teams.
• Willingness to travel or relocate based on project assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive field leadership and oversight for mission critical construction projects.
• Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure construction activities are safe, efficient, and consistent with project plans and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, field personnel, and project stakeholders to maintain productivity and schedule performance.
• Develop and manage construction sequencing, site logistics, manpower planning, and field execution strategies.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations.
• Monitor project progress, quality control, and field productivity, and proactively address potential challenges.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, commissioning teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee installation and coordination of complex building systems and mission critical infrastructure.
• Support schedule management, milestone tracking, and critical path execution.
• Identify construction conflicts and implement solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Mentor and develop assistant superintendents and other field personnel.
• Ensure projects meet quality expectations, contractual requirements, and client objectives.
