This role involves designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities, with voltages ranging from 12kV up to 500kV. The position offers exposure to how power generation, including renewables, connects to the electric system. Candidates will utilize their knowledge of digital logic design and AC/DC circuits for substation electrical projects. Responsibilities include adhering to quality control and safe work practices, and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget. The engineer will be part of a design team, working with engineers, designers, and CAD technicians, and will follow client standards for design implementation. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, with 4 days a week in the Houston, TX office.
