This role involves designing substation protection and control projects for electric utilities, ranging from 12kV to 500kV. The position offers exposure to the power systems industry, including renewable energy integration. Candidates will utilize their knowledge of digital logic design and AC/DC circuits for substation electrical projects. The role also includes design and planning for electric transmission, distribution, and substation facilities, preparation of single-lines, schematics, and wiring designs, and quality control checks. Additionally, responsibilities encompass preparing studies and reports for transmission and distribution systems, and providing complete project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation, including construction support. The position requires compliance with quality control, safe work practices, and adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget. The engineer will be part of a design team and work with client standards.
