About The Position

The Senior Submission Specialist executes MLR submissions, ensuring materials meet client requirements and are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time. The role manages day-to-day submission tasks and supports the Senior MLR Operations Manager in delivering scalable, efficient, and compliant workflows. It also uses technology and AI to optimize workflows and mentors team members to promote consistent, high-quality work.

The position is expected to work in the office at least three days a week, subject to local law and any additional in-office requirements set by the agency or manager. The listed salary range is $52,000–$81,000.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in MLR submissions, regulatory operations, or a related role in healthcare, pharma, or advertising.
• Experience managing complex, high-volume submissions and working with digital workflow tools and technology.
• Deep understanding of MLR submission processes and requirements.
• Proficiency with digital submission platforms, tracking systems, and AI tools; mastery of Veeva PromoMats is required.
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and project management abilities.
• Fact-checking skills and comfort working with scientific literature.
• Clear and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor and support team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage, quality-check, and execute MLR submissions, ensuring materials are accurate, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
• Use Veeva PromoMats and other digital platforms to tag and link materials and perform workflow-related tasks according to each brand’s standards.
• Use digital tools and AI solutions to streamline submission tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot and resolve submission issues, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption.
• Collaborate with the Senior MLR Operations Manager, content teams, and regulatory teams to support project delivery.
• Mentor and support submissions team members, model best practices, and encourage innovative solutions.
